Hopefully, tomorrow, I'll have a new bike to replace my trike. I have made arrangements with the people at Shift to pick up a mountain bike with stabilizer wheels. So that means I can return the tricycle St. David's rehab, and out of back my truck where it has been a liability to me, in that it could be stolen.
It's because most stroke survivors are hemiplegiac, affecting either the left or the right side of their body. In my case, and with most other stroke survivors, one of the hands is spastic. Meaning it can't move naturally, calmly, or fluidly in unison with other parts of the body.
