Vic Sr. and daughter, Cristy Whoop-dee-doo! My father checked out of Nazareth Hall, his care facility for the last nine months. He walked out a "free" man on Sunday afternoon and moved back into his castle at 3101 Mountain Avenue. His will and determination to get back home paid off. Those two charateristics have served him well over his nearly 97 years.
While he was receiving excellent care at Nazareth Hall, he just couldn't stand being there. Nazreth provided three Square meals a day, medical care, baths, and a place to chat with visitors. But he dearly missed his home of nearly 70 years.
Out of the house since the middle of November with a broken hip, the injury has since healed, and his strength has returned.
